OVERLORD MUSEUM: one of the best place to understand the events that took place there 75 years ago
Our group was divided in six, each asking questions to Mrs Le Gand and Mr Duval.
Thet lived in the same village, about 5 km from Omaha Beach (Aignerville).

At the History Festival there, the group presented the book with the collection of accounts on WW2.
Here, we see Timothé presenting the issues of the Battle of Normandy to the audience. Behind him, a drawing made by another pupil to illustrate Albert Figg's journey through Normandy in 1944.
A tremendous experience with a very kind and attentive audience!
Doing the job properly implies to communicate & explain what was done to the press. The pupils learn to talk to someone from outside the school. They have to be brief and as clear as possible.
The local press -in this case, Paris-Normandie- has been following the school's project with some interest.
